Goodbye Sphinx?

Here is what happens when radical Muslims take over a county. Does anyone remember the giant Buddhas that were blown up in Afghanistan back several years ago. Watch this trailer of The Giant Buddhas.

This act was a crime against the human culture!

I have yet to see this film, but it looks profound and completely engrossing.

Here is a link about the attempt to rebuild them.

Will this be the fate of Egyptian antiquity? Will they blow up the Sphinx? Do you question the possibility? ... I don't.

Egypt

As Egypt began blowing up last week, all I could think was, "how is this George Bush's fault? How will the media pin this one on George Bush?"

..."repeat the lie, repeat the lie, repeat the lie."

You mean like, "It's George Bush's fault. It's George Bush's fault. It's George Bush's fault."

... or "The car is in the ditch. The car is in the ditch. The car is in the ditch."

I believe the term "blood libel" was only used once by Sarah Palin. The only way it was repeated was when the idiot Left wing media played it over and over again.

Palin ... WTF

I must admit that when I saw Sarah Palin call Obama's theme of winning the future "WTF," a guttural chuckle came out of me. Hate her or love her, these are the things she does that ring true. Hilarious and true at the same time. Eighty percent of America probably said "WTF" to themselves during the State of the Union speech ... don't ever let the whorish media allow you to think otherwise. This man talked about the greatness of  other countries ... not ours.

"Sputnik moment" ?????? ... you mean like the "launch of Communist thuggery moment," Mr. President?

No, no ... that speech was about launching our dreams ... like the "dreams from my father" ... a ... um ...uh ... ah ... the Communist dreamer. No, no back up teleprompter."

Why not the mention of the man landing on the moon? Is that out dated?

Obama says, "why yes, we need to go back to the early days, when the pure Communist ideal was intact and yet unsullied by that evil American capitalism and American economic imperialism."

... oops, I just hurled.

Think about this for a minute. Am I that far off from where this man's head is? I don't think so.

The 2010 Democrat rally

I was going through some footage I took when I infiltrated the big Democrat rally just before the 2010 election. I keep trying to come up with a plausible reason for the return of Dennis Kucinich to Congress. Here is a montage of the event.

I wish I had more video ... but as soon as Obama started talking about the "car in the ditch" blah, blah, blah, I had to leave. My stomach could only take so much. Remember the law of repetition that Cohen was so fond of talking about? The "car in the ditch" mantra was a perfect example of what Mr. Cohen was talking about!

See my original post about the rally.

Steyn caller

Caller is calling and talking about the 2000 new bureaucrats being hired by the FDA to carry out the new Food Safety Modernization Act. The bill was originated in Senate and not in the House. The Origination clause in constitution forbids this. Great call! The caller informs us of how Harry Reid will attach clauses to obfuscate the true origination of the bill ... Steyn is pointing out how Reid creates technicalities to participate in non compliance to the constitution.

Mark Steyn and the brilliant rant on High Speed Rail.

The most brilliant radio rant since I heard my local guy, Bob Frantz, go off at Sheriff Dupnik a couple of Mondays ago. Mark Steyn's rant about high speed rail had me in stitches! See previous post. He went soaring toward the bottom of the one O'clock hour! I haven't laughed that hard in weeks! Thank you Mark Steyn for making me laugh at the ridiculousnous of Obama's vision. Government rail (Amtrak) goes up from D.C., through New York City, on to New Haven, and all the way up to Montreal. The average speed is 16 mph. Mellifluously as ever, he brought on the notion of a liberal on a bicycle ... racing the train North. That was it ... I was done ... couldn't stop laughing

... is laughing at liberals now also considered hate speech?

The smear Bachman campaign

Several posts back, I noted how Palin has been destroyed by the media from the get go. I suggested that Bachman may be a good choice to make a run for the Presidency. I pointed out how she had not yet been smeared and personally attacked by the media to the extent that Palin had. Well, that sure changed quickly. The Left is so completely predictable! It started out with media making fun of her for looking at the camera that was supposed to feed the Tea Party Express web site. It turned out that the camera directly adjacent to the Tea Party camera was the one providing the only feed of her response. So of course the Left, heeding the words of MLK, judged her by the superficial circumstances of the event (and her gender) rather than the content of her character and the meaning of her words. (a note to the dumbed down of America: that was called sarcasm) Jon Stewart, the jackass posing as comedian, was quick to pile on. The Left is so shallow. These are the people that were calling for civil discourse after the Giffords shooting. Hmmm ... something sounds fishy here. More fishy speech from the Left!

Then when the Left (the worthless fool, Chris Matthews in particular) attacked the content of her words and the words of the fore bearers, they cannot even get history correct! The abolitionists wanted none of the slaves counted in the census. The abolitionists wanted to reduce the representation of the vile South in the halls of Congress. The three fifths compromise was put in place to guarantee the eventual demise of slavery! The slave owners wanted the slaves counted fully because it would ensure over-representation by the vile South in the Congress. Don't forget that the slaves had no vote. The South wanted to bolster their strength while denying the slaves a voice in their own future. Yet today, according to idiots like Chris Matthews, the abolitionists were somehow racists because they did not consider a slave as a whole person for the purpose of the census. This is a complete contradiction in terms ... that is, unless you do not know the definition of "abolitionist." Chris Matthews and the ilk like him are counting on that very fact. They are part of the Animal Farm. They are counting on a sufficiently dumbed down America to buy their propaganda.

Does the average American fifth grader even know that president Lincoln was a Republican?
Does the average American fifth grader even know that the KKK was a product of Southern Democrats?
Does the average American fifth grader even know that Martin Luther King was a Republican?

Does the average American high school senior today realize that he has been spoon fed a steady diet of revisionist history?

I doubt it!
All the while, slavery continues to this day in Africa! Have you ever seen the movie Blood Diamond? It's worth a look for all of you who remain moronically misinformed.

The hypocricy rolls on ...

Last week I posted this thought:

Curiosity is the seed of freedom.
Freedom creates people who become experts in imagination.
Experts in imagination, by virtue of their passion to share and uplift, create value.
It is from this helpful intent, and the high ideal to truly "thrive together" (in light of our new sloganeering), that capitalism is born. It roots are not in greed, but in the charitable nature of empathy.

And this is why the Tea Party is so dangerous to the status quo. We represent the renaissance of reason ... the renaissance of common sense!

I am doing my part to represent the intellectual wing of the Tea Party movement.

... and my intellect tells me that when the feces hits the fan in this country, the Tea Party will be blamed. No matter how often and how loud we say, "Violence is not the answer," any violence will attributed to us. Get ready for the slings and the arrows.

Mark Steyn

Today is Thursday, January 27th, 2011. I want to take this opportunity to reach out to all of those Rush Limbaugh haters out there. You know who are.

Mark Steyn will be filling in for Rush tomorrow behind the "golden EIB microphone." I have written about Steyn several times on this blog. He is truly a rising star. If you really, really, really hate Rush Limbaugh then you should tune in to listen to Mark Steyn tomorrow. Steyn was born in Canada, but raised in the UK. He has lived through, and grown up around socialized medicine. He has lived through the failure of the European model. He speaks from experience. He understands how the lean toward socialism destroys will and initiative ... crushes the human spirit. Please listen.

Earlier in the week, a woman called in to the Rush Limbaugh show. She expressed the feeling that millions of Rush Limbaugh haters hold dear. The problem was that she had a hard time putting her displeasure with Rush into words. She kept coming back to the word "tone." Just the sound of Rush Limbaugh's voice drives these people crazy. Allow me to articulate for her. Here are some words to describe her feeling. Rush is: bombastic, pompous, condescending, overly confident, high minded, sarcastic, insulting, stereotypically male. It is not the words that offend; it is the tone in which they are uttered. This is a poor excuse to dismiss the content. It is, however, a major reason why many moderate thinkers do reject Limbaugh. The answer is simple: Mark Steyn

Thank you again Arizona

This is oh so sweet. Once again, I must say, "thank you Arizona!" The legislature has introduced a bill that will force all future presidential candidates to provide original documentation to prove natural born citizen status. Other states are crafting similar laws. I called for these actions over a year ago on this blog. I'm not saying that I have had an influence. I'm just saying that I have had my finger on the pulse of the popular sentiment. What I like about the proposed law in Arizona is that it calls for the candidate to prove that he has no dual allegiance. Since Obama was listed as a citizen of Indonesia in his earlier years, this automatically knocks him out of the box! ... the ballot box! I am a bit fearful that this emergent push for states rights will set up a constitutional crisis. Obama, the autocrat, may have to push the calender forward. He may have to go for the throat more quickly than he had intended.

Sputnik?

Of course Obama went to visit where Sputnik crashed to earth to talk about "winning the future." Why don't you go to the place from where they launched it Mr Obama ... and think about staying.

What are we launching here? ... or is the satellite crashing .... I'm not sure of the imagery here.

Was this some kind of rhetorical signal? Is Obama calling for a launch of something?

And why use the Communist icon of Sputnik? Why not use our own feat of landing on the moon? Sputnik literally translates to "co-traveler." Is it time for America to travel down the road of Socialism? ... or dare I say Communism?

Obama ... the twisted dictator!

The sit together trap

I agree with Paul Broun (R-GA). This "sit together' plan proposed by the Democrats is one giant PC trap! The Dems do not want the American public to see how completely outnumbered they are now. This is nothing but shameful exploitation of the atrocity in Tuscon. Further, the President will feed at the trough of feigned patriotism ... he will graciously (but deceptively) move to the center in an effort to wipe away the past in the minds of Americans. He will be all "pro American" all of the sudden. Never mind that he has destroyed our image in the world for the last two years. He will keep talking about "making stuff here." This will be a complete smoke and mirrors speech. He will say things that Americans know are true. But he will say words that he himself has no belief in. This will be the hallmark speech for Obama to remake his image into something he despises. He will lie, and lie, and lie some more for the sake of political expediency. He will lie about who he is and what he represents. This is all part of the re-elect Obama campaign. He needs some words to point to next year when he unloads his billion dollar campaign war chest. Don't be fooled by this amorphous being. He will call for civility and a new tone. All the while his surrogates will call people like me Nazis. All the while the media whores will get away will the repetition of lies. These unwashed sluts in the media will pound away until the hearsay and the disinformation is sufficiently absorbed by the uninformed.

--------------------------------------------------

Look at what Ronald Reagan's son is doing. He is trying to destroy the greatness of his father by calling into question his mental faculties during the presidential years. The basic premise is this: conservatism equals mental deficiency ... so sad.

The Kennedy family gets the Kennedy mini-series pulled from the History channel. NO! We cannot have the image of Camelot tainted by the truth. How obscene that would be!

Pure and simple: Media Manipulation!

--------------------------------------------------

Also, I find it curious that Eric Holder decided that right now is the time to make that big Mob bust. This is complete manipulation by the administration. This was perfectly timed to distract the public eye away from the ruminations about the visit by the Chinese dictator. This also was done to run cover for the despicable media and their shameful behavior following the Tuscon atrocity. Ask yourself this: What was the key piece of evidence gathered that allowed Holder to say, "Now we can move in."? My speculation: Nothing! It was a bust that was sitting in a holding pattern just waiting for the perfect time to pull the switch. This was solely timed to change the flow of the media river. Holder wants to manipulate what appears above the fold in newspapers across the country. I have no doubt about this!

Running commentary from January 5, 2011

This is my running inner dialogue while watching the inauguration of the 112th congress ..

--------------------------------------------------
..

Oh Happy Day

Keep speaking with that vote! ... I'm proud to be an American ... especially today!

-------------------------------------------------

The funniest thing just happened! I almost cannot stop laughing. It's hard to type. The inauguration  just got kicked off with the invocation of a prayer. I naturally feel that this is a serious moment in our nations smooth transition of power. I bowed my head and began to listen to the prayer. The television caught my attention because the shot switched from a close-up shot of the minister to a wide panning shot of the members. As the camera panned across the gallery of congress members, all you could see was the stillness of all the members with bowed heads ... that is until the camera reached my own "beloved" congressman Dennis Kucinich. There he is, Dennis Kucinich  ...an impish little twit mugging for the camera ... with that stupid Dennis grin ... and his stupid little boy hair cut ... and that complete disrespect for me and the growing number of constituents who increasingly vote against him! I started laughing uncontrollably.

 -------------------------------------------------------------

Now that I have composed myself, I bow my head again ... This time in shame. The prayer has long since ended.

-------------------------------------------------------

Presidential thoughts are running through my brain.

Bachman is a natural alternative to Palin. Bachman is vilified by the left, but she hasn't been destroyed like Palin. (Hey that's great ... media frenzy level can go down to def con four now ... Palin mission complete ... peeping tom neighbor we hired can go home now ... good job way too smart media!) They destroy strong women ... beauty queens with brains. Yet they cast the Right as misogynistic. The media whores prostitute themselves out by abusing strong women.

So now Bachman can destroy the media by pointing out how they carried out the hit job on Palin ... It's so acceptable by the left to besmirch a woman for superficial characteristics, and accuse the Right of racism because we agree with MLK, "not the color of his skin but by the content of his character". So now they are playing the same old card. The Dems will play the race card and they have no problem with the gender card.

Christie for Veep ... I think he is comfortable enough with his manhood to be veep. He would create comic relief that would actually have substance ... I'm pretty tired of the Joe Biden shtick.

You could easily flip flop that ticket. You might not want to. Bachman on the top of the ticket could create an inspiration for Hillary to run. This would force another hard split in the Dem party. It would force Obama to defend. With Christie at the top of the ticket, you would get a straight Christie vs. Obama run. In either scenario, I like the chances. What about Bolton/Bachman? How about Herman Caine/Bachman? or Bachman/Herman Caine? hmmm? ... so many possibilities.

Joy Behar is sitting at the edge of her seat wondering if Boehner is going to cry. Another bias by the left. Men should be empathetic and more sensitive, blah, blah, blah. Then when they see a genuinely empathetic male ... they ridicule and belittle him. Hypocrites!!

--------------------------------------------------

Loraigne Miller looked really angry when she banged the gavel. Man does she ever look ticked off!

----------------------------------------------------

Pelosi is now on the screen.

Miss robot arms is on the screen now ... I was watching her talk earlier to the Congressional Black Caucus. I was waiting for a computer chip to spark. I imagine her as one of those bots in the movie Westworld ... remember that movie? There is one difference. The robots in that movie were more fluid than she. ;~} Come to think of it ... the Terminator robot was more fluid than she.

-----------------------------------------------

Pelosi elected minority leader ... dressed in electric blue ... "The Body Electric."! Wasn't that the name of a Twilight Zone episode?

------------------------------------------

Boehner walking to stage ... OK John  make a self deprecating joke about your crying ... then cry all you want. Tears of joy good man!

---------------------------------------------

Pelosi is invoking the phrase "trustees of the constitution." These wackos could give two cents for the constitution! And now she is reveling in being the first woman speaker ... women on the left are fireproof against criticism. See previous posts.

-------------------------------------------------

It is finally former Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. Hallelujah!!!!!

----------------------------------------------

I guess John Boehner got all of the crying out of his system before the speech. Joy Behar is so disappointed ... Boo Hoo!

God Bless! Gabrielle Giffords

Giffords remarkable recovery ... Rush Limbaugh never gave out Dupnicks email address ... fraudulent media ... institutional ignorance ... Steve Cohen ... Gerbels was propagandist along the lines of the progressive agenda ... Cohen's agenda ...
Mrs. Giffords is reportedly on her ipod. This woman will be back in full. I have no doubt! What a miracle ... a tremendous victory over evil. I am so happy to hear this.

"Well this must be some kind subterfuge," Mr. Lefty Left would say. "How can you, Mr. Tea Party, commiserate with one of your political enemies?" Teabagger responds,  "Because I have principals Mr. Lefty Left. I don't condone murder. I have empathy." Is not "teabagger" a hateful term? Oh that's right, the Left is incapable of hate. I cannot speak for all members ... but I feel personally insulted by the aftermath of the Tuscon shootings. The Tea Party, in my view, is comprised of your average guy or gal. We are a group committed to principals. We'll knock on each others doors to borrow a tool or the classic "cup of sugar." The new civility is now composed of Joan Rivers or Joy Behar calling Palin a Nazi. I heard the clip ... but those two clowns sound equally annoying. It was one or the other. I guess it was Joan Rivers. But, you know, Behar plays the same hate game. You talk of hate speech. Steve Cohen compares most Americans to the Nazi propagandist Gerbels. How does this NOT count for hate speech? ... despicable! If anything, it is the Tea Party that could be compared to the Jews of the 1930's and 1940's. Well Mr. Lefty Left, we know the history, and we will not stand for it. Ballots, Ballots, Ballots ... my friends ;~} Never in my life did I ever think that I would be called the "N" word. ............;~o ........ kind of funny ...and quite sad.

I just hope Cohen is not a golfer. I'll invite him to my Golf To The Core seminar .... but it will cost him $1000.00. Even then, I might not take his money. I'm a capitalist ... not a complete whore! I leave that job to the media.

Cohen went on to say that "if you keep repeating the same things over and over and over again, eventually people will start to believe it." It was something along those lines. He was accusing the Right of propaganda. Don't forget ... The Left always accuses the Right of doing things that they themselves are already doing. This is their MO ... don't ever forget that. For example: how many times have you heard Obama and his surrogates blame George Bush for everything under the sun? They have been repeating that for over two years now. Do you see how this works? The loony Left is really comprised of simpleton trick shot artists ... nothing more.

Earlier on, Rush played a clip of sheriff Dupnick accusing Rush of urging his listeners to send nasty emails. In all the years of listening to Rush, I have never once heard him give out anyone's email address ... never. But don't forget, if you keep trumpeting the same lie over and over again, eventually someone will believe it.  In this case, the media will count on the "dumbed down America" (or more precisely: the distracted America) to keep alive perpetual falsehoods. The Left and the media whores have been playing this game for years now. People that have never listened to Rush repeat something that someone else says that Rush said. Of course, that source of the info didn't hear Rush say that either. They just repeated the hearsay that another non-listener passed on ... and so on and so on. The people that are willing to accept this media rumor are simply using the misinformation to justify their own prejudices. So now, who then are the truly ignorant? Who are the real bigots? Who among us are guilty of possessing a closed mind? It is the radical Left my friends. It is the whores of the mainstream media my friends! That's who. Open your eyes America.

... And the hypocrisy rolls on .....

This redneck Tea Party is so itncorehent, members like me think the follwing crazy thoughts:

The seed of freedom is curiosity.
A blossoming freedon creates people who become experts in imagination.
These experts in imagination, by virtue of the urge to share and uplift, create value.
When value is created, through the charitable nature of people and the urge to find meaning, capitalism and free markets emerge. Capitalism is truly born of empathy ... not greed.

Is this now considered hate speech?

When oil was shooting up under George Bush, it was "greedy corporations."

Here in the Obama years, when the oil goes up, "well it's time to move alternative energy."

Total and complete hypocrisy!

The word I hate the most is ...

It is actually a coinage ... but the word is "ginormous." It's a cross between "gigantic" and "enormous."

Sorry ... I just cannot accept it!

Hey! I said something apolitical ... isn't that great?

------------------------------------------------

Here is some more apolitical stuff.

I registered www.golftothecore.com on January 2, 2011. I decided that I needed to hit the road to put on some seminars. Readers of this blog my be aware that I also author www.goldengolf.com under the pseudonym Taylor Spalding. The goldengolf site represents the philosophical background to Golf To The Core. It represents the investigation into the aesthetic nature of golf. Goldengolf.com is the core of Golf To The Core. The seminar itself will mix in some of those philosophical aspects. But the focus of the seminar will be on the physical action of "core connectedness." Golf To The Core is really the seminar I have been working on for the last twenty years. Attending the seminar will change the way you look at golf. This presentation will add unique perspective.

Please visit me at www.golftothecore.com

If you go there now, you will find a little bit of 112th congress inauguration "play by play"

I would appreciate any feedback you may have on either site.

For obvious reasons, Washington D.C. will be an area of early focus for seminar activity. I will be looking for venues in Washington D.C. in the coming weeks.

---------------------------------------------

I'm going to stay on the subject of golf .... but I'm going to go political now. Over at www.freedomlovingamericangolfer.blogspot.com I make it fairly clear that golf is the game of diplomacy, democracy, and capitalism. This does not mean that the game cannot be played by despots, dictators, and totalitarians. What I'm saying that the precepts of acting honorably, behaving in a mannerly fashion, showing deference, exhibiting temperance, having individual governance (for example: calling a penalty on oneself if necessary) ... all of these actions are the actions of the freedom loving and diplomatic player. Bomb throwers and crazies tend not to take very well to the game. Clubs get broken; greens get hacked up; nothing goes well for the intemperate golfer. So I believe that golf can be a great bridge between people. The game can serve as a great buffer between folks of differing ideologies. So, Washington D.C. is the place that needs Golf To The Core more than any other place right now.

For some time now, I have been on  this anti Obama/anti-socialism rant. Let me say here and now that, though I may be stereotyped as a right wing nut job or as a Teabagger, I have no desire to take the path of the Jared Loughners of the world. My rant is lucid; my command of the language solid; I don't hate women; I investigate the things I don't know enough about; I don't just take things as they are presented to me; Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto are not at the top of my reading list; I don't listen to The Drowning Pool; I am not hell bent on conspiracy theories (OK, but I am a birther); the passion keeps me in the game. The passion keeps me in the game of golf ... it keeps me in the game of life! I own a saxophone, but I don't know how to play it. So I am the Anti-Loughner in every sense of the hyphenated word. I will stay the Anti-Loughner for the rest of my years.

The root cause

From what I have read, the root causes of Loughner's rage are as follows:

Extreme hatred of George Bush.

Belief that 911 was an inside job perpetrated by the government .... he was a 911 truther.

Economic frustration ... he couldn't hold or find a fulfilling job.

Social rejection.

Extreme hatred of women .... misogyny.

.... I'm still looking for evidence of corrosive political discourse as a root cause. I'm still looking for evidence that he was inspired by Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity, or Oreilly.

Yet it appears that J. Eric Fuller is using his victim-hood mentality and his actual victim-hood to justify his preconceived notions and hatred of Glenn Beck.

Astonishing

I originally posted a running play by play of the memorial service. In deference to the victims and my sense of social decorum, I removed them. Perhaps at some point I will re-post my comments. Overall ... this was a political rally for Obama. It was the kickoff of Obama's re-election bid for 2012. "Together we thrive"? Is that the slogan for 2012? Does that replace "Yes we can"? Just wondering ...

At one point he called out the media for jumping to conclusions. He noted that only the shooter knows what drove him to commit this heinous act. Then, within a few minutes, he was saying that the responsibility for the crime could not be attributed to the lone gunman. He put the responsibility at the feet of all Americans and called for civility. This man is brilliantly and dubiously duplicitous.

The Palin response

Although I have strongly supported Palin and her vision, I have been urging her not to run in 2012. I have noted that the media has tried to destroy her from the get go. I have noted that she has possibly further tainted herself by doing the reality show. Watching the video below has given me reason for pause. Perhaps I should re-think my position. This intelligent, reasoned response has renewed my faith a good bit. I like the fact that she held her tongue until today. She did not lash out at Krugman in the hours after the atrocity. She let the media run its libelous course. She waited for the dust to settle. She patiently formed a reasoned and calm response to the shrill outcries of Krugman, Dupnik, and the myriad of others. Hats off to Sarah Palin.

Bob Frantz

Around the 10 O'Clock hour Bob Frantz of WTAM went on, what can only be called, one of the most lucid verbal rants in recent talk radio history. I had called in to the show to make a comment on the air and was holding on the phone when this extemporaneous outburst went down. I would love to shake his hand and commend him personally for saying what is on the minds of millions of Americans. He basically called Obama to the carpet. He called out the loony sheriff of Pima county, Clarence Dupnik. He called out Paul Krugman, Pennsylvania congressman Brady, and the left wing media in general. The Left has pointed its finger at conservative Americans and he was PISSED! At the conclusion of his rant, he said that millions of Americans agree with him. He is correct. Thank you Bob Frantz.

As I write this, I am viewing the mugshot of Jared Loughner for the first time. This guy literally looks like Uncle Fester after completion the Nutrisystem program. Now I know this guy is wacked! I won't dishonor myself by linking to his photo, Trust me! "cuckoo! cuckoo!"

I held for about forty-five minutes and went through listening to a couple of other callers along the way. When I finally got on, Mr. Frantz had calmed down from his rant. I commended him for "one of the most fantastic articulations of rage that I had ever heard." He apologized for going off the rails. He said, "OK, deep breath." I told him that I was going to give him some pause. I said that I originally called to defend the Tea Party ... and of course I do. But I ended up making the point that internet has created this hyper-media model. It allows people like Loughner to look at the political discourse as if it were two parents arguing. No kid wants to hear that. He would pull bits and pieces out of the blue, but was unable to put together a logical train of thought. Then I called the media a whore and asked him if I was still allowed to say that. He noted that Dupnik was one of those who was whoring himself out to the media. My ultimate point was that there are millions of people out there that realize that the Tea Party is articulating what they have been thinking for some time. Ratings for people like Rush Limbaugh and Beck are high because these folks are articulating what the listener is thinking and not vice versa. They are providing the voice for a large portion of the population. That is why the ratings for Keith Olberman are so low. He articulates a smaller portion of the population. But I noted that I myself was a Tea Partier before there was a Tea Party ... and there are a lot of us out here.

So now I have managed to get on the radio two consecutive days. I say this not as if it is some egoistic milestone. I look at it as more of a curiosity ... something that has never happened to me before. But I am glad that I have been able to voice my voice. I hope that I was able to make a positive contribution to the show and to members of the WTAM audience.

One point he made that struck me: We should not be calling this thing the Tuscon Tragedy. We should be calling this the Tuscon Atrocity. Well stated.

... and who has been calling for violence?

Although I don't catch Beck or Rush every day, I distinctly recall Beck making multiple pleas to his listeners over the last year "to abstain from violence." He would always say, "If we resort to violence, we lose the argument." And yet somehow, he and others talkers are attacked. We have example after example after example of left wing radicals actually calling for violence ... but somehow, when violence breaks out, the big elephant in the middle of the room vanishes into thin air!

Then we learn that the Federal Judge that was gunned down was there to talk to Giffords about border security. Giffords herself was a strong proponent of second amendment rights. She is a former Republican. We learn that Loughner had an occult shrine set up in his back yard. We hear of emails from a former classmate of Loughner who sat by the door ... ready to bolt at a moments notice. That is how fearful she was of Loughner. See article.

Soaking the constitution in gasoline and lighting it on fire

This Drudge linked article is very disturbing to me. The legislators are using this Tuscon massacre to tear away at the second amendment. Frankly, I expected this. I was not surprised by this knee jerk reaction. The part of the article that truly disturbed me comes in a paragraph a little ways down. It reads as follows:

"Pennsylvania Rep. Robert Brady, a Democrat from Philadelphia, told CNN that he also plans to take legislative action. He will introduce a bill that would make it a crime for anyone to use language or symbols that could be seen as threatening (emphasis mine) or violent against a federal official, including a member of Congress."

Let me get this straight. So you Mr. Brady want it so that if I flip off a federal bureaucrat, I can be arrested?  How about if I carry around a Gadsden flag in view of a federal official? Is that a symbol you find threatening? Will I be arrested then? How about the color Yellow? Can I wear yellow ... or is that color too closely associated with the Gadsden flag. Can I just tell a bureaucrat to "piss off" or do I have to use an actual swear word to get arrested? How about the Stars and Stripes? Is that OK? Can I still carry that around? What if a federal official stumbles across this blog and sees the Gadsden flag ... and then gets offended or feels threatened ... will I be arrested then?

Mr. Brady. I will be curious to read the constitutional basis for this bill you will be introducing. I am curious to find out how you will be able to defend your actions in light of that little thing called ... THE FIRST AMENDMENT! Knock, Knock, Knock. Anybody home?

Mr. Brady. You are a jackass! Do you find  that word threatening or violent?

The real tragedy (with no disrespect to the victims), is that one man with a gun has muted the free speech of millions of Americans. How? Congress has delayed the business of the American people. Congress has been muted for a solid week, preventing themselves from exercising the free speech of the people who spoke on November 2, 2010.

The Tuscon Tragedy

Let me extend my condolences to all the victims and their families. This heartless, thoughtless, evil act deserves the condemnation of all peace loving, free Americans. Let us all pray for the the speedy and full recovery of Gabby Giffords and all or the other survivors. Let us say a prayer for those who have lost a loved one. Let us say a special prayer for the Green family. They lost a lovely nine year old daughter ... such a young life so senselessly cut short.

As I knew would happen, various groups on the left have blamed talk radio, Fox news, and the Tea Party movement in general for causing this horrible tragedy. It appears that Jared Loughner was a disconnected and disturbed individual. I find it appalling that blame is so easily tossed around.

It appears that Miss Giffords was one of the incumbent congressional members that was politically targeted on Sarah Palin's web site last spring. It is being inferred now (as it was then) that this was a veiled call for violence on the part of Sarah Palin. It was not! Miss Giffords was involved in a very contentious race with Iraq vet Jesse Kelly. Miss Giffords won by a mere 4,000 votes. Mr. Kelly was a Tea Party favorite. So naturally, her political detractors and political enemies are being blamed by the media and by Sheriff Clarence Dumpnik. This is both irrational and irresponsible.

As one of the original pre-cursors and one of the original voices of the Tea Party movement, I wholeheartedly reject these insinuations. Let me assure you; the Tea Party is about ballots not bullets. We spoke loud and clear as a nation on November 2. We will not be silenced by the rhetoric of those who will use such a tragedy as a weapon to mute the voices of millions of law abiding, God fearing, patriotic Americans. Blame will be assigned when Mr. Loughner meets his final judgment ... sometime after he takes his final breath. It is not for us to decide.

 "Except Obama! Except Obama!"

That's what happened when a New Jersey congressman read the natural born citizen clause of the constitution. A woman in the gallery said those words after the first sentence was read. But she did not just blurt it out. She said this with a conviction that is gut-stirring. This whole thing will be brushed under the rug .... some "crazy" birther got in and disrupted the proceedings. Another "Joe Wilson" out of control ... just another hater gone crazy.

But there is more. If you listen closely the woman says, "My name is Theresa ...." As soon as she was about to utter her last name the booming voice of the man with the gavel overrode the sound of the woman's voice. I just found the video on politico . Politico does note that she screamed her name. However, she was trying to say her whole name. This is a significant nuance. This doesn't sound like a random birther that slipped in between the cracks. This sounds like a person who knows something. She is willing to give the full testament of her first and last name. She is voicing that her message represents a personal account of knowing the truth. Theresa is a whistleblower. Theresa is a brave woman!

Back to the core

Here we go: back to the core ... back to the document. Thank you 112th congress.

National Guard

Picking up on the audio of O'reilly in the other room ... they're talking about the border. My view: Put nothing less than the full force of the U.S. military at the southern border. Establish multiple field stations. Establish a few field hubs a few miles back from the field stations. These would serve as well guarded supply stations. Here you could mix in air support (via helipads and choppers), chow units, and M.A.S.H. unit capabilities. You then get the State National Guard to protect the buffer zone between the homeland and the back flank of the U.S. Military. The State National Guard could then help coordinate with a strong network of the Citizen Militia. To get the infrastructure set up, you bring in some returning Iraq and Afghanistan vets. Bring in some strong field commanders to develop the units and cross train with the and State guard units. Basically turn the border area into a string of strong efficient military bases.

Caligula in a silk robe

This article about Hugh Hefner is a barn burner! The article paints Hef as an authoritarian gang banger with Quaaludes in one hand and Viagra in the other, having condom free sex orgies, living in a pissed over mansion, with animals crapping all over the outdated furniture and floors. Then ... allowance day ... creepy!

With Viagra Hugh can re-live1966 when he was a young stud at the age of 40 ;~) Man .... he is getting up there. Caligula only lived a scant 28 years.

As Shelly, the House Bunny says, "just remember girls, the eyes are the 'nipples' of the face." That line just cracked me up when I first saw the movie.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to one and all!

I must let you know that I rung in the new year while having a conversation with one of my political enemies. No bother ... It was pure delight to not have to say much beyond re-confirming my staid beliefs. It strikes me now that the incoming freshmen must take a strong early stand. NO RAISING OF THE DEBT CEILING ... without considerable concessions ... and I mean CONSIDERABLE concessions. Threaten bankruptcy! Ah shoot that would play right into the hands of George Soros. No matter ... it must be done.

Look! ... the Moody's bond rating for U.S. debt is already in place for a downgrade. Use the Moody's threat as political cover. No harm ... this is politics! The health care mandates alone will tip the scale toward a bond rating downgrade. A potential downgrade of U.S. bond debt is a huge threat to our viability. This legitimate threat can be used as a  leveraging mechanism. Tea Party favorable House freshmen take note. This drives the legitimate political argument for austerity measures in perpetuity! ... and beginning soon!

------------------------------------------------------

Except in the case of the military, I loathe the whole GS scale ... government pay scheme ... subsidizing people to willingly underachieve. I don't blame the people victimized by bureaucracy or treat them as the culprits. I blame the structure of  bureaucracy itself as the perpetrator of the crime. Spreading the blame of inefficiency is much easier when everyone's duties overlap and there is no single culprit to identify. This is the nature of the beast.

------------------------------------------------------

For years Robert Kiyosaki has been talking about the shift from defined benefit retirement packages to self funded retirement packages. We see how American private business had to make that shift in order to survive. We see how the government refuses to make that shift. This congress must start forcing that shift. The answer is not for the U.S. to declare bankruptcy. The answer is to declare certain government agencies bankrupt. Reorganize the agency and hire people that specialize in efficiency. Institute ample matching funds for those folks that want to sock away money in their self-funded retirement plans. Remember the good old days when working for the government was a downer compared to a high flying career in the private sector ... those Mad Men kind of days. Funny and scary how that has flipped.

------------------------------------------
Random Thought:

A bill should be introduced to cut corporate taxes to some ridiculously low level ... like 15% ... and make Obama defend his veto. It's time to be aggressive ...

-----------------------------------------

Back to the New Year festivities: I spoke later (Bud Light to Bud Light) to my good friend about the upcoming presidential race. He and I actually agreed that if Sarah Palin runs against Obama ... Obama will be a two term president. This is the friend that I wrote "The Plea" for ... (see right hand column) ... so he is a legitimate voice of  the independent voter.  I argued that McCain would not have come as close as he did without Sarah Palin. He argued that McCain lost because of Sarah Palin.

He may have a point ... the old guard picked the new guard to run with him ... too much dichotomy ... I respect that point of view. I still firmly believe she should be energy secretary in the cabinet of a less "Aw shucks" kind of Republican candidate.

This is not a dig on Sarah Palin whatsoever ... I would love to meet her some day. In no uncertain terms, Alaska is on my bucket list. Nothing would make me happier than to spend a summer in Alaska ... playing eighteen holes of golf at midnight! ... hiking up to a broad vista ... enjoying the meditation of the beauty of a glacial stream. It all appeals. I love the ruggedness of the atmosphere. I love getting that natural rush. I remember getting that rush when I first saw Sedona, when I passed through Dillion on my way to Vail, when I jumped into a lagoon near Honolulu. So, Alaska would be a great adventure.

My point about Patlin: I just think that, while America (on the whole) accepts Sarah Palin's premise of self determination, America does not accept her articulation. Her "Aw shucks" delivery is fine with me ( I find it endearing) ... but it tends to spoil with the swing voter, who is itching to find fault. A large percentage of American opinion is still built on hearsay and convenient negative distortion. The media hates optimism and paints it as backwardness and naivete'. This is why the media from the get go, with near rabid determination, set out to destroy America's first impression of Mrs. Palin. She has way too much common sense.

I can just picture the eco-terrorist loons climbing the walls while watching her reality show. She's cutting trees down, hunting with a nice 7 mag, fishing the waters, and pushing fossil fuel development ... things they hate. I wouldn't doubt that half of her demographic consists of a bunch of liberals tuning in for a good hate fest! Sometimes it's fun to just make yourself laugh.

The hatred by the left and moderates is so sharp ... it reminds me of my own distaste for Hillary!
