The Dream Act

What kind of subterfuge is this!? Harry Reid is attaching a citizenship path for illegals to the defense bill. This is absolutely insulting. It's called the Dream Act. So let me get this straight. Were going to allow illegal immigrants to join the United States military as a way to get citizenship. Are these the same illegal immigrants that are waving the Mexican flag all over the place? Aren't we supposed to have a military that is loyal to the United States of America. How can we accomplish this by recruiting individuals who have a loyalty to Mexico? This makes no sense to me!

The New Talking Point

The memo must have gone out yesterday. Keith Olberman (yes... I have to keep tabs on the enemy) gleefully announced that extending the Bush tax cuts are now semantically re-framed as the "Obama tax cuts." Pelosi today referred to the same notion in the same phrase, "the Obama tax cuts." Now all the Democrat talking heads are calling the potential extension as "the Obama tax cuts." The command and control regime is ardently calling anything negative the fault of  Bush and anything positive as Obama's claim to fame. What a sham! Do they really think that the public is that stupid?

Nine Years Ago: September 10th 2001.The Night Before

It was about this time nine years ago today that I was just arriving home ... exhausted. Monday, Sept. 10, 2001 was moving day for me and my family. After a long summer of house hunting, we had finally found a solid home with an acre and a pond. The kids were in new schools. I was in a new neighborhood. I could even hit golf balls in my new back yard. "Life is good!" I thought.  It was a big change me and my family. In less than eight hours, it would be a big change for the whole world.

The family and I emptied that last load off of the rental truck. I made the long trek to return the truck to the other side of town, and made the long trek back to my new home from the rental site. When I arrived home, the rest of the family was already asleep. So I plopped myself down on the floor, surrounded by boxes, and flipped on the television. The cable wasn't turned on yet. So with the TV set up on a couple of milk crates, with rabbit ears sticking out, I turned on ABC. As I thought of the hard day of moving and the long day of unpacking ahead, I drifted off to a most welcomed sleep ...

Is Obama Mentally Deficient?

I wasn't invited to the Obama adoration festival at the western campus of Cuyahoga Community College. So I showed up with my "Impeach Obama The Destroyer" sign and proudly displayed it on Pleasant Valley Road. It's too bad. I would have willfully heckled the Manchurian President. It was reported that there were not enough people showing up to fill the seats. It appears that they had to yank some students out of class to fill the place up. This of course resulted in dumbing them down ... not because they were missing class, but because they had to listen to this idiot pontificate.

Question: Is Obama the President of the United States or the president of the Democrat party? You wouldn't know after Obama displayed his obsession for John Boehner for half his speech. But what would I know? I'm just one of those rednecks on the side of the road holding a sign. As one of those rednecks who just recently learned how to count, let me say this. Of all the passersby, who were motivated to express an opinion of our presence, roughly ninety percent of those expressions were favorable. Sure there was the occasional "thumbs down" and the thumb and forefinger "loser" sign. But on the whole, it appears that even the heavily Democrat Cuyahoga county is fed up with this president. Most of the honking horns were accompanied by a big "thumbs up."

Allow me to digress. Mr. Obama hasn't a clue about how an economy works. I believe he actually may be mentally challenged. No wait! That's too simplistic. Remember, I'm just a redneck standing on the side of the road. It takes me a little extra time to figure things out. NO! ... He is treating the American public as if it is they who are mentally challenged. He knows how the economy works. You have to know how it works in order to destroy it. Remember, like my sign says, he is "Obama the Destroyer."

Obama wants the American public to believe that this is about revenue. It is not! It's about control. For example: Obama said that Republicans want to borrow 800 billion dollars to pay for the tax cut that they want to give to the rich (via extending the Bush tax cuts). Sorry Barack O-bysmal Obama, tax revenues correlate to economic growth not tax rates! Through your drunken sailor spending, healthcare entitlement promises, and your creation of uncertainty in general, you are SHRINKING the ecomony. Revenues will continue to plummet as the economy shrinks. Sure, you may get a short-term uptick. But over the long run revenues will contract. That is perfect for your plan to collapse capitalism and freedom.

Impeach Obama

Here is the sign I will be carrying on Wednesday September 8th at the entrance to the Tri-C west campus. Obama will be speaking there at 2PM. Of course the event is invite only. Translation: No dissent will be allowed within earshot of his speech. Dissent will be pushed to the outside. America will only be allowed to see the President in the context of a favorable crowd.

Pete Corrigan

I got a phone call last night from the Corrigan for Congress campaign. The person informed me that someone would be dropping off some campaign literature for me to hand out at the polls today. Little did I know that it would be Mr. Corrigan himself that would be dropping off the materials. As I was his last stop of the night, we had a chance to chat for about twenty minutes.

I must say ... this is a regular guy. He is down to earth, common sense oriented, and an overall good guy. I feel as though he would represent the interests of the people of this district. I have also had an encounter with Kucinich in the past. He came off as high minded, condescending, quirky, and persnickety. Mr. Corrigan comes off as exactly opposite!

I do not feel that Mr. Kucinich represents the people. Mr. Kucinich represents the left wing elitists who want to control every aspect of your daily life. Does everyone remember the plane ride he took on Air Force One with Barak Obama? Here we had the President, himself a leftist ideologue, dragging Dennis Kucinich to the right! That is scary. Remember ... Mr. Kucinich wants a single payer, completely government controlled health care system. Obama had to twist his arm to get him to vote for the health care reform package. Kucinich was ready to vote against it because it "didn't do enough." The Progressives are destroying this country ... and Dennis Kucinich is one of the Vice Chairs of the Progressive Caucus in Congress. Voting him out would be a major step in breaking down this elitist, Socialist cabal.

Judicial Malfeasance

Yes ... there is judicial malfeasance going on. The judge in the Terrance Lakin case is ignoring the constitution and denying the colonel's ability to put on a defense. I hope this case goes all the way to the Supreme court (hopefully before Obama gets to put in another left wing sympathizer of the State). Read the article here.

The New Mantra

The new mantra of the radical left is that the Republican candidates running in the mid-terms, many of which are favorable to the Tea Party, are just too radical to get elected. This is quite amusing. The Democrat party, which itself has been hijacked by leftist, Maoist, Marxist, and Leninist extremists is suddenly squawking about anti-statist common sense conservatives. The Democrats have moved so far left that the center looks to be extreme. Fools!

The following audio clips are a fascinating explanation of Fascism and Fabianism. I find it interesting that Lefevre sees that government by its very nature is socialistic. I never really thought about it in the way he explains it. The third clip is quite insightful. He explains how the Fabian model creates the "lesser of two evils mentality." It seems that the congress has been following this model for time in-memorial ... from both sides of the aisle!

Ahead of the game

I love being one day ahead of World Net Daily. OK ... it was more like several hours. I just received the link to this article this morning. It was posted at 10:25 PM last night at the WND site. I believe I was watching the Dakdok videos at that very time. It confirms much about my post yesterday.

The more I look the scarier it gets. Is Obama the Mahdi that the Islamic world is looking for?

... and the media keeps covering it up. On the NBC nightly news the other night the reporter (interacting with Brian Williams) said "18% of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim ... He is not." Then he said something to the effect that another large segment of the population believes that he was born outside of the USA ... "he was not. He was born in Hawaii."   Wow! there we have some serious investigative reporting! Puke!

There is no mention of the Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin case.

I mean ... this is a huge story completely ignored by the Obama media propaganda machine. This is a Lieutenant Colonel, with 18 years of distinguished military service, facing court martial for refusing deployment for the sake of Obama's questionable eligibility. Journalism is truly dead.

Is Obama a Muslim?

Well ... he attended a public school in Indonesia and was registered as a Muslim. He attended a school that was run by the Catholic church in Indonesia ... ALSO REGISTERED AS A MUSLIM. But that doesn't make him a Muslim ... does it? Children often just seem to go through the paces of their religious upbringing. They don't necessarily become it when they reach adulthood. However, according to Sharia law, a child born of a Muslim father is automatically a Muslim. So according to Islam, he is by default a Muslim. But you say, "He converted to Christianity." OK then why was a fatwa not issued calling for his death.

.He stated to the New York Times that the Adhan (the Muslim call to prayer) was "one of the prettiest sounds on earth." I would link to the article, but it has been removed from the NYT web site.

Why did Louis Farrakhan call Obama his brother? The Koran strictly forbids a Muslim from befriending the infidel. 

Then there was this Freudian slip. I'm sure it was just an innocent slip.




Here is an interesting link. Pastor Dakdok, a Christian born of Christian parents and raised in Egypt, goes into detail. I just finished watching all the videos in succession ... This pastor is VERY convincing! In his twelve videos on his page, he covers the birth issue, the Muslim issue, and the issue of Black Liberation Theology. Below is the first video. I highly recommend viewing all the videos on Pastor Dakdok's page. These videos were made eighty days before the election of 2008. In segment #8 Pastor Dakdok relates a story about when he called Trinity United Church on the phone to inquire about Obama ... CHILLING! I also appreciated that Dakdok puts up quotes from the Koran to highlight his points.

And what were the "Dreams of his Father?" Well we know that his father was an active socialist and a Muslim. Here is a good link to something his father wrote.

We may say that it doesn't matter what religion Obama is. His actions are destroying the country, just like I warned they would back in 2008 (see my letter in the right hand column). We have far bigger problems than his religious inclinations. However, from a generational perspective, it does matter what his religion is. Will my children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren be faced with the decision to either accept Allah or have their heads chopped off? Will I?

We are on the precipice of another severe slide in the stock market. People fearing the uptick in capital gains taxes come January will be selling over the next few months. Plus the "head and shoulders" formation on the chart points to a lower Dow Jones Industrial Average. More wealth destruction is on the way! Obama the Marxist will be doing backflips soon.

My View of the View

Of course I have to watch the ruler of the soon to be not so free world on The View. Highlight of the first segment is race. First off, he referred to the black race as a "mongrel" people. So now he is actually agreeing with the late Robert Byrd!! (see previous post) WOW! Then he said that white people were also mongrels but that somehow we are not as familiar with it. Now I'm insulted! I am a Finnish, Hungarian, German, and English mutt. I don't like your connotation Mr. Presideant. The Shirley Sherrod video clip was the hot topic. First the president talks about how the reptilian portion of our brains, when observing someone who looks different from us, is naturally cautious. But he attributed Shirley Sherrod's biases to the accumulation of her experiences. Very subtle Mr. President. I guess that this somehow discounts her racism and excuses her. He stated that we should get the facts straight before we make conclusions. Perhaps he should tell that to Howard Dean. Mr. Dean blamed FOX News for the firing of Shirley Sherrod. This is despite the fact that Ms. Sherrod was fired before her name was ever mentioned on FOX News. How about the story that is being perpetuated that the TEA Party used the "N" word as congress walked across the bridge in D.C. Breitbart still has his $100,000 bounty out there for any proof of such a thing. Yet the echo chamber of the mainstream media still reports that someone was dropping the "N" word. Is this the disinformation on which the NAACP based their official repudiation of the TEA Party. Let's get the facts straight! But the left relies on the simple method of repeating a lie over and over again so as to create the impression that it must be true.

Second segment: Stimulus ... Elizabeth complains about the notion of "saved jobs." Obama gives the example of how the states were aided by the Feds ... "saving" the jobs of teachers, firefighters, police, etc. These are not private sector jobs Mr. President. Then he moved on to the GM story (which are arguably private sector jobs). GM has put back to work 55,000 people ... and now are producing a car that nobody wants! Yippee Mr. President ... We have the VOLT! It's a car that runs on electricity. Remember during the presidential campaign Obama saying that electricity rates will "necessarily skyrocket." He said this as he was describing how he was going to destroy the coal industry. He's a great guy!!

The rest was a bit of fluff. Who cares if Obama knows who Snookie is?

The long silence ends

I have refrained from posting for some time. I am moving more toward a place of peaceful repose. The law of attraction had been working against me. I had been focusing too much on my own distaste for our Manchurian President. And now congress has given him executive powers to shut down the internet for four months. This has to be unsettling to any American that treasures his constitional right to free speech.

You can despise the ideas of a person, debate him for hours to a draw or a tie, and yet treat him with honor and respect, receiving honor and respect in return. This is the middle path. These posts are a series of vitriolic rants against the left. I am not ashamed of my positions. I am proud of them! I will try to harnass my rage against the machine as the machine attempts to put America over the brink. When Obama said he was bringing us back from the brink ... he was lying.

Obama eulogized the late Senator Robert Byrd (a former recruiter for the KKK) and praised him for abandoning his wrong-headed youthful ideas. Someone has to point out that Robert Byrd was 28 years old when he wrote that he would rather die a thousand deaths and have the American flag trampled upon rather than fight next to a Negro (his word) in a war. I believe he also used the words "race mongrels" in the same letter.

Bill Clinton then says that Robert Byrd  only became a member of the KKK so that he could get elected. Then my jaw hits the floor. And they call Republicans, Libertarians, Patriots, and constitutionalists racists? Outrageous! Oh, buy the way, Robert Byrd was 51 years old when he filibustered the Civil Rights Act.

... and just now I get a phone call that I have been fired from my bartending job. Ah ... the irony of it all. I just got fired by a walking, talking, idiot of a man ... with an ego based on a formless, spineless whim of his delusional authority. He is a man that needs to throw sand in the eyes of those looking upward ... the smallness of his soul reaching out to choke the spirit of the competent optimist. It sounds like I am describing a statist. And RJL is a little tiny mini statist running his shrinking little piece of inherited kingdom. You know RJL ... your father was the real man. Remember? I knew him ... he was a great man ... a kind man ... a genuine man. You are none of those things! I was working for a statist. Now I am free!

So did the law of attraction work for me or against me. I would have to say "for me" ... despite my perceived bad luck. I of course am referring to the book titled "The Secret." Although it could be labeled as pop culture fluff, it was a very inspirational read. Much of what is written there jibes with my own fascination with chaos theory, fractal geometry, quantum physics, and aesthetics. I remain optimistic about life!

And I started the piece today stating that people can disagree and still bestow honor upon each other.

But you have to realize that some people are so mislead by their own stupidity and ego attachments that their souls are shrunken down into tiny little dwarf stars ... moving toward the black hole an into the void. Life becomes petty and inspiration only drawn from the heights of that pettiness. The master of me for the last few months specializes in pettiness. His inability to woo the gal has reduced him. I feel sorry for him and I forgive him.

Broader horizons await for me. This unexpected summer vacation will allow me to finish my manuscript for the future New York Times best selling diet book I am writing. It will free me to return some focus on painting and the arts. I will see some tall ships this week in the harbor and seek my next challenge ... be it a return to Vail, the tropics, or Australia. The bucket list keeps growing. First and foremost on my list: help Peter Corrigan unseat Dennis Kucinich this fall. I have to give headquarters a call.

So much to talk about ... must find laughter

I realize that if you formed a perception of me based solely on the content of this blog, your impression of me would be that of a salty, approaching middle age, stereotypical curmudgeon type, frowning around town clown, pissed off all the time type of person. For those who know me personally, that perception would be only partially true ;~]

Intense? ... OK, a little bit at times. Incredulous? ... sure, why not. Someone who enjoys laughter? ... absolutely, yes. Diplomatic? ... yes, and hope to be more so every day. Appreciative? ... never enough. Artful? ... a dilettante can dream! Respectful of others (even those I disagree with)? ... I keep trying. I think I am improving. How can these qualities be seen as hateful? I am expressing my political free speech. That is all! You, oh president, stand on your elitism and call this extremism.

But don't forget that I'm just a restaurant rat! I haven't been properly schooled in elitism. I am barely beyond the level of "aristocrat of the working class," (to quote a movie line). Enlightened thinker? ... oh, I hope so. In truth, I am an every day man with concern for the future? ... hello, yeah ... duh. Oh, you are too? I thought so. I am presenting  a distillation of a common American emotion that is now permeating this country. We are the lovers of America ... lovers of freedom ... respectful of the wisdom of the founding fathers ... in awe of their amazing plan for government restraint. I ask you, HOW COULD THIS BE CONSTRUED AS HATE? Of course, it cannot be! But it is and it will be. It's time to march to the ballot box and demand a receipt!

I understand that this "Rip on Obama" blog I author breaches the levies of political correctness. The Left sees this as sedition, hate speech, or cleverly cloaked racism. None of these are true. Idiot Alert! ... I'm about to use a metaphor. We exist in a splintered media market machine whose audience has been lulled into believing that the opinions transmitted to them through various sources about the nature of the "Cuckoo Clock" (the nature of dissent) are, in fact, all true. According to them, you should NOT listen for yourself to the Cuckoo Clock making the noise, you should listen to what other people say about the nature of the Cuckoo Clock, the workings of its mechanism, and the quality or discord of its sound. These opinions, which are disguised as facts, are spouted out by deceptive media badge toting onlookers. Such is the collusion of the lamestream media. Keep repeating the same lie over and over and people start to believe it as fact. This is the mantra of the Left ... it always has been.

The Leftist Opinion Spinners are the real haters. These haters are the people in the media who are spinning lies about the nature of Tea Party members (quasi or otherwise) the Tea Party movement in general ... The real haters are the folks that are ripping on the Glenn Becks, Sean Hannitys, Billy Cunninghams, Michael Savages, and Rush Limbaughs of the world. "Right on media punks!" These so-called spewers of hate are just broken Cuckoo Clocks. We're the media. We'll tell you all about the funny, weird, and dangerous sounds these clocks have been making."

I am presently reading "The Manchurian President." Here we go again with those darn facts, and records, and writings, and transcripts, and documented associations, and layers of secrecy ... and I'm barely fifty pages in!.... It's a book we should all read.

Why would we want to follow Greece down the path of self-annihilation? They went from the dialectic to the dependency. Sad! Now it's just chaos there.

Words are being twisted by this administration. That goof, Whitehouse spokesman Robert Gibbs, says that ex FEMA director Michael Brown accused the Obama administration of purposely setting off the oil spill. Brown never said that. He did say that the administration was playing politics with the event. That I totally agree with. The heartless ideologue at the top would in fact purposely slow the response to the disaster for political purposes. All in the name of environmentalism! HAH!

Come on States: Toughen Your Certification Process for President

Arizona has toughened it's stance on certification. More states need to model this law. If Obama can be kept off the ballot, in several to many states,  a constitutional crisis can be set up for 2012. If Obama can be proven a usurper by the states, then every piece of legislation or treaty he has ever signed can be deemed null and void! We can literally rewind the clock and preserve the Republic!

Nice to Meet You Mr. Corrigan

Well I was planted by the walkway at Albion middle school, sitting in the warm Spring sun, with a book in my hand and a brand new lawn chair. Around 6:00 PM a van pulled in. On the side of the vehicle was a "Corrigan for Congress" magnetic sign. Naturally I waved since I was clutching "Corrigan for Congress" fliers in my other hand. I figured it was one of the campaign staff checking the sites.  But what do you know ... it was Mr. Corrigan himself along with  his nephew. It was a pleasure to meet the man I was supporting. Having exchanged salutations, I held up the book I was reading and pointed to the title. I said, "This is what I'm looking for." The book was titled "Authentic Leadership." Mr Corrigan said he was familiar with the author. He noted that he had experienced a lecture by the author during his years at Harvard. So we were off to a good start.

I talked to him about a woman I met as she made her way to vote. I made the case for dumping Dennis this November. As she made her way out, after voting, we had a good conversation about the state of affairs. She indicated that she worked for NASA. She basically indicated that there were several thousand employees at NASA Lewis Research Center that had absolutely no work to do. They were all pretty much a bunch of six figure employees sitting around collecting a pay check. She also noted that in Florida 7000 contractors, who were providing services and technology for NASA, were let go of their contracts. She seemed very disappointed about what was happening at NASA, but refused to apply any of the blame to Obama. She wanted to play the "blame Bush" game. She was an African-American woman; I took the opportunity to let her know that I thought it was reprehensible to demonize the Tea Party folks, labeling them racists for disagreeing with the policies of the Obama. I noted that I thought Bush over spent and got away from the core values of the political party he represented. In this way, Bush and Obama could both have statist tendencies. This seemed to placate her a bit. She agreed that it was time for Dennis to go.

Mr. Corrigan and I had a good conversation about how Obama is destroying one of the great institutions of scientific incubation (NASA). We touched on immigration and fiscal conservatism. He then invited me to the after party downtown.

Due to a family obligation, I was unable to attend the after party for Mr. Corrigan. But I look forward to working diligently over the next several months to get Mr. Corrigan to Washington and to finally dump Dennis! It's an uphill battle here in northern Ohio. But it can be done!

Obama's Katrina

I feel bad that I haven't posted in a few weeks. I am back in the Cleveland area after a winter stint in Vail, Colorado. I have been thrown right into the mix. I am extremely busy with my new position as the bar manager at one of the hottest summer spots in the area. To regain my sanity ... I need to vent a little.

So much has been going on ... I don't know where to start. I'll start with the most recent news first and work my way back.

There have been complaints that the federal response to the oil spill in the Gulf has been slow.

Is this Obama's Katrina? Hell No! Obama is the New Age Teflon (NAT) president! He makes Ronald Reagan look like a golf circuit grinder. The cries now will be that the disaster was truly a consequence of a modern man-made interference. Back at Katrina the left would play the race card and inject lunatic conspiracies that Bush was deliberately messing with the weather patterns. Now the slow federal response can be blamed on the fact that the community organizer has no concept of how an oil rig works (and doesn't want to). The experts in the oil industry are in the private sector ... and why would Obama want anything to do with the private sector?  Katrina and the oil disaster have one thing in common. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT REALLY AN EXPERT IN A N Y T H I N G. (exceptions: taxation and corruption)

But Now! But Now! The current government can demonize the "evil" oil corporations. Obviously they are negligent. Here's one more excuse for the government to get all up in the oil business. And their favorite target Haliburton is now in the cross hairs. Haliburton is the company that poured the cement for the oil well head at the bottom of the gulf. This is where the failure happened.

I'm getting sick of looking at Obama's elitist chin, jutting to the left, as he punctuates his egoic platitude in the form of a powerful word.

This whole Goldman Sachs business is just a giant shell game. The Obama administration (and the federal government in general) is riddled with former Goldman Sachs employees. This whole dog and pony show is just a smokescreen. It is a way for "cowboy Obama" to wrap the rope of socialism around the hooves of the American economic horse (see the Born Free Express blog). I'm sure there are backroom deals being done by the administration. Obama is in the process of selling his soul to Government Sachs. He is surely promising big rewards for many of them in the future in exchange for the pain he is putting them through now.

Hooray for Arizona! It's about time!

Seth Meyers on Saturday Night Live said something to the effect that "nothing screams Fascism like the words, 'show me your papers.' " This was very offensive to me. He left out one minor thing. Back then people were running away from the Third Reich, which was truly profiling people for one sole purpose: killing them.  In this case people are running toward freedom and opportunity. This I have no quarrel with. I love Hispanic people. Some of the warmest, good-hearted  people I have met in my life were Hispanics. My quarrel is with a federal government which, in the name of civil rights, sides with the people here illegally and against the civil rights of the legal citizen ... something which is (in theory now-a-days) conferred by the rule of law. In Obama's twisted mind, the way to stem the flow of illegals is to make the United States a less desirable place to run to! Good job, you idiot usurper!

So Seth Meyers, what do you  think will happen when Obamacare kicks in? That will take the notion of "show me your papers" to a whole new level! Just wait Seth ... wait until you are 400th in line for surgery on your prostate someday. Arizona is simply enforcing a law that the federal government refuses to enforce. More states please!

The whole idea that "illegals do the jobs that Americans just won't do" doesn't wash anymore. Our dollars are being sent out of the country and the strain on social services for illegals is at the breaking point.

So deal with it! Thank you Arizona.

Hooray for Arizona again! The Arizona legislature also passed a law requiring any future presidential candidates to show proof of eligibility. Double Hooray!! More states please!

... and another thing about SNL. This is an excruciatingly funny and well crafted show these days. But interspersed among the hilarity are bits based on mainstream media buy-ins. This is dangerous because the hopelessly misinformed will also buy in to a myth that is being perpetuated through a stereotype ... one that is not based on a shred of the truth.

One bit in particular was disturbing to me. The scene starts out with a group of guys sitting around in lawn chairs, reminiscing about old times. As the conversation rolls on, each of the four admit to some form of lewd and lascivious behavior. One has sex with corpse; the other is a pedophile that works for the Catholic church ... and so on. As they wrap up the conversation, one of the group says, "well, are you ready to do this?" They all say "yes" and proceed to don their Revolutionary War era tricorner hats. They each pick up their sign and set out to attend a T.E.A. Party. At the end of the skit I asked myself, "Are they attempting to poke fun at the T.E.A. Party members themselves, or are they poking fun at the media's demonization of the group?" It is probably the former, since SNL is itself participating in the fraudulent thinking. But they have been ripping on Obama a good bit as of late. This is encouraging. At least they participate in equal opportunity lampooning.

Seeing the satellite photos of the ash plume from the Icelandic volcano reminds me of how little mankind really impacts the environment. The amount of CO2 introduced into the atmosphere from that one event alone probably dwarfs what man has introduced over the last ten years. Look for the summer of 2011 to be the "summer that never was." Cooling is on the way. To hell with these academic elitists!

Let the Dismantling Begin

Obama has just landed in Prague to sign a treaty with the Russians to reduce nuclear weapons. He's making good on his promise to "bring the military into the 21st century." Essentially he is weakening the U.S. by handcuffing our ability to respond to the people who want to kill us. I believe I warned of this in "My Plea". See paragraph eight.

All this is being done while Putin meets with Chavez to sign an oil and nuclear power deal. Of course this is all for peaceful purposes. There is no chance that Chavez, the Latin bully, would want to start developing weapons grade nuclear material! Right? Wrong. Why should Russia care about reducing their own weaponry when they have rogue states like Iran and Venezuela in their pocket. They can transfer nuclear technology to them and wash their hands of it.

Doling out the pre-election cash

Ohio just announced that this summer will be the busiest road construction season on record ... eclipsing the previous record by 30%. This confirms my prediction of March 22.

Obama's "home" Country

I just heard Michelle Obama say that when she and Barack went to visit "his HOME country" of Kenya, they went and had a public aids test as a show of support.

She meant the country of his ancestors ... right?

OR ... is it a case of the classic Freudian slip? ummmmmmmm

... and I find it humorous that people like Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are demonized .... and these guys won't even bite on the birther issue!

This is done by the left to make people like Joseph Farah look like real lunatics. WHAT ABOUT THE ACTUAL WORDS OF THE ACTUAL PERSON WHO IS INTIMATELY INVOLVED WITH THE PERSON IN QUESTION!?

Hollywood

I'm still waiting for the outrage from the Federal government concerning the enormous profits being raked in by the Hollywood movie studios. Last week it was announced that ticket prices would be going up. Oh wait, Hollywood agrees with the administration ... they're safe! It's only the corporations that disagree with Obamacare that get called before congress. It's OK when Hollywood (realizing that taxes are going up ... way up) decides to protect its bottom line. But when ordinary corporations follow suit ... of course they will be demonized by the Obama administration.

The new campaign by the D.C. tourism bureau revolves around the concept of POWER ... "create your own power trip." Since the president is on his own power trip, you might as well be on your own power trip. I get it ... that is so cute!

Here is some advice to all the waves of patriot protesters that will be descending on Washington D.C. in the coming months. Pack a lunch; bring your own water; fill your tank before you get into town. Do everything you can to stop yourself from spending a dime in Washington D.C.! The politicians are already spending your money and the money your children have yet to earn. Why spend more? You are already sacrificing your time and money to be there. Don't pile on more.

Picking Our Way Through The World

As we make our way through the world, we meet some interesting people. We meet people that we connect with; we meet others with which we feel indifference. We meet some that evoke outright disdain. Some people have light energy; Others have the energy of a black hole, trying to suck others of lighter energy into a cauldron of negativity. Sometimes it can be so bad that we wonder if the person we are encountering needs a strict regimen of pharmaceuticals ... or perhaps the discontinuation of all pharmaceuticals ...we can't figure it out. No matter. In all experiences, we learn. So let me relate my experience with one of those light energy people.

This individual's initials are O.M. While this may inspire the thought of a Bodhisattva meditating and chanting the sound of all creation, you would be mistaken. This individual was born in Tel Aviv and studied at Brandeise University. He is a liberal Jew born and bred! He is steeped in the liberal ideology of his upbringing and education. There is no way to present an argument that will sink in past his conditioning. Yet he is one of the coolest cats I have met out here in Vail! But he is a typical liberal in one sense. Rather than discussing any philosophical difference rationally, he would rather plug his fingers into his ears and go "la la la la la." He has never actually done this. But he does it in a virtual sense. His attitude is that his ideology is by default correct, and he wouldn't want to dislike me because of my "off the ranch" kind of thinking. So when I give him a ribbing that Obama is dissing his boy Bebe Netanyahu, and that Obama is an anti-Semite, he changes the subject. But we can joke about our differences and make light of the thing, despite our entrenched opposite views. I have, and have had, many other liberal friends and acquaintences. One of them is such a good friend, that I wrote him the long letter you see to the right. We remain good friends despite our political differences. I love the people on the other side that are up for the rough and tumble. I used to look forward to going to work because one particular fellow worker (J.S.) was willing to go to the mat in political dialogue ... and he had the same zeal, I'm sure. I don't hate people that have opposite views. I try to make a logical argument and expect them to do the same. This is how it was in the old days ... like in the 1780's.

Now my landlord out here (K.K.), is an Obama Zombie if I ever met one (sorry, that's not really a very nice thing to say). But I don't mean it perniciously. My landlords have been gracious hosts and are both wonderful people. They are both light energy people. Like I said, I don't dislike people who disagree with me. But here is the plain fact. Vail wouldn't be here if it wasn't for late Peter W. Seibert, who hiked seven hours up a mountain with his friend Earl Eaton and had a vision and a determination to make a dream come true. Could Seibert have had the same dream under the Stalin, the freedom to pursue it under Mao, or the private property rights to develop it under Chavez? The answer is NO! I simply cannot understand how anyone can ignore the history of how the socialist and authoritarian regimes of the past have ultimately turned out. Every such regime that has ever existed ends up reducing wealth, eroding human rights, destroying property rights, destroying initiative, indoctrinating children, etc. It has never turned out well ... EVER! And for Obama to simply laugh off those who call him a socialist (and say that protesters have nothing to back up the argument) is nothing but a ploy to reassure the uninformed.

Now (K.K.) has actually plugged her ears and gone "la la la la la" when faced with the rational argument against Obamacare. It's kind of funny. I laughed out loud. Simply dismiss the attempt to communicate logically by refusing the communication all together! I guess I got a little fired up. But I don't begrudge the people on the other side of the argument, and I hope those on the other side don't begrudge me. What I'm finding though, is a pattern of dismissal right off the rip. Why? ... Does the concept of the bankruptcy of the United States of America not give pause for thought? (see chart below). What really bothers the liberal is that their stereotype of the libertarian/conservative as a hateful person does not fit the reality. It is easier to buy the lamestream media line that conservatives and tea party patriots are motivated by racism and all that garbage than it is to face the facts of our deteriorating American dream. The ecstasy of the final triumph of the progressive vision (by means of the Whitehouse political thumbscrew) is being disrupted by throngs of Americans saying, "that's way over the line." This bothers the true dyed in the wool liberal. But that's OK! What is not OK is to hate a person solely for the fact that you dislike their views or ideas. "Love thy enemy".

Below is a rational argument. The Republicans gained a majority in the 104th Congress. They reigned in Clinton's spending and actually created a surplus. (Remember: Lower taxes increase revenues to the treasury). Then Republicans lost their way, caved to the Progressives, and over spent. Now we have the Pelosi, Reed, and Obama triumvirate. Look at the chart now! It's out of control.

Libs love to say the word "sustainability." Is there anything on this chart that screams sustainability? (Remember: Higher taxes discourage economic activity and decrease revenues to the treasury). In other words, it's actually worse than the chart shows!

The Egg Throwers

The people that are throwing eggs at the Tea Party Express now ... will probably someday be wearing a shirt that says IRS on the back ... just you watch!
